The MBA program of School of Economics and Management of Tongji University aims to cultivate industry leaders and elites with global vision, sense of social responsibility and spirit of innovation, mastering modern economic management knowledge and skills, and practicing sustainable development, and on the basis of the traditional disciplinary strengths of the School and taking advantage of multidisciplinary fusion and social service, the program has gradually formed eight course modules, of which three courses are particularly distinctive, namely, project management and real estate, service and operation management, and finance. and Finance are particularly distinctive.

Since the establishment of the school in 1993, it has been committed to shaping the international pattern of the students, and has established cooperation and exchange relations with more than a hundred internationally renowned business schools in more than 30 countries and regions, such as the United States, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and so on.

The Master of Management program was ranked 13th in the world in the Top 100 Global Masters of Management list released by FT in 2024, and has been steadily ranked among the top 50 in the world for nine consecutive years. Since 2011, it has been awarded "Most Brand Influential MBA Institution of the Year" by Sina.com for ten consecutive years; since 2012, it has been awarded "Most Socially Influential MBA Institution" by QQ.com for nine consecutive years; since 2017, it has been awarded "Brand Influential MBA Program" by CCTV.com for five consecutive years. "In March 2025, the full-time MBA program was ranked 31st in the world by the Financial Times (FT) and 5th in mainland China, and the Salary Percentage Increase of graduates was 23%. Increase of graduates' salary (Salary Percentage) is 238%, ranking No.4 in the world and No.1 in China.

Facing the new situation in the new era, Tongji MBA conforms to the development of the times, responds to the requirements of the country, and relies on the cultivation advantages of the five synergies - enterprise and institutional synergies, institutional and governmental synergies, disciplinary synergies, international synergies, and scientific and educational synergies - and continues to develop innovative ideas.

Tongji MBA has continued to develop and innovate in accordance with the cultivation advantages of Tongji MBA. Facing the demand of national rural revitalization strategy, Tongji MBA holds rural revitalization theme study project, moves the classroom to the field, and incorporates rural cases into the teaching; for the realistic pain point in the field of technology transfer, Tongji MBA sets up technology transfer project, outputs high-quality intermediate technology brokers, aiming at solving the problems of shortage of talent and lack of professional ability in technology transfer, and serves the strategy and development of the country.
