(1) Chinese Government Scholarship
1. Bilateral Program/Category A
The Ministry of Education of China provides full or partial scholarships in accordance with educational cooperation and exchange agreements or MOUs signed with relevant governments, institutions, schools, and international organizations. The application time of each country is different (generally between November and March). Please consult the Chinese embassy (consulate) abroad and relevant departments. The admission documents will be issued to the applicant by the scholarship accepting institution (relevant domestic departments and Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad).Please visit the website of China Scholarship Council (http://www.csc.edu.cn) to learn more.
Applicants for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Bilateral Program/Type A) who require a Pre-admission Notice from our university should select "Chinese Government Scholarship Type A" in Tongji University Online Registration System. Within two weeks after submitting the application, our university will issue Pre-admission Notices to students who meet the basic requirements.The pre-admission notice is only used to assist you in applying for the Chinese government scholarship (Category A), and does not represent the final review and admission results of the school and scholarship.
2. College Independent Enrollment Project/Category B
This is provided by the Ministry of Education of China and is used by China's high-level universities to independently enroll international master and doctoral students.

(2) Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship
Established by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, this is a subsidy for outstanding foreign students to receive higher education in Shanghai universities.

(3) Tongji Full-time MBA “Belt and Road” Development Scholarship
1) In order to continue to promote the international development of the School and support the development of the Belt and Road Initiative, the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University (Tongji SEM) has been encouraging and attracting outstanding international students from countries along the route to join the School through various channels. Their participation will also help other students deepen their understanding of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The establishment of “Belt and Road” Development Scholarship is made by Tongji SEM.
2) Scholarship Details
Each scholarship awardee will receive a scholarship of RMB 80,000.
3) Scholarship Eligibility
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
1. Applicant is an international student applying for Tongji Full-time MBA program and meets the program requirements;
2. Applicant is from a developing country, and preferably from a country that has signed cooperation documents with China to jointly build the “Belt and Road Initiative” (see the Belt and Road Network website www.yidaiyilu.gov.cn for the list of countries);
3. Applicants should show demonstrated need for financial aid.
4) Scholarship Application Process
The scholarship review committee will conduct a comprehensive evaluation based on the information provided by the applicants, and select applicants who meet the application requirements, and award them the scholarship.
This scholarship will be awarded after the applicant is officially admitted to Tongji Full-time MBA program (the recipient will be awarded RMB 40,000 at the start of each year with total amount of RMB 80,000 in two years ).

Special Note
The Chinese Government Scholarship(CSC, type A & type B) and Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship coverage include:
1.On-campus accommodation
2.Comprehensive Medical Insurance
3.Living stipend for Master student:3,000 RMB/month
4.Tuition fee coverage:25,000 RMB/year
The scholarship does not cover the full tuition. The Master of Business Administration (program code 125100, taught in English/taught in Chinese, full-time, two-year) costs RMB 154,000 per academic year. Even if the Chinese Government Scholarship or the Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship is awarded, the admitted student must still pay Tongji University the program tuition of RMB 129,000 per academic year by the specified deadline.
